This is how we spent our LAST weekend of 2008 in Los Angeles! Luke came in town for the Metallica concert. Friday and Saturday night were spent with Myself, John, Luke, Adlina, Cory, Spencer and Liz! What a great way to go out with a BANG in 2008!
Tomorrow, John and I leave for Minnesota to celebrate Christmas and bring in the New Year with Family! We are SO excited to get home…and SEE BRADY!!!!!

I’m sure you are all wondering – What is Cate doing at a Metallica concert? Well, here is your answer… John! John has been obsessed with Metallica his whole life. Any chance he gets to play music, he plays Metallica…and very loudly!

John’s brother Luke came in town to go to the concert with John and Cory. John bought the tickets and well, he thought I would want to go. So that is how I got my ticket.

The concert was great! It was held at The Forum in Inglewood, California. **Mom, don’t freak out – I only saw one Seven Eleven get robbed, and 2 people shot. No big deal. JUST KIDDING!

The Forum is no Staples Center, but it was nice nonetheless. The band put on a great show! But let me tell you, you do not want to mess with Metallica fans. They are crazy! Thanks to John and Cory, we had great seats. We were 4 rows up from the floor by the stage, and there were mosh pits everywhere! People were body surfing and running around with their shirts off, proudly showing off their many tattoos and flabby bellys… Hot to say the least

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS December 9, 2008
We LOVE Christmas! John and I went Christmas shopping yesterday, for Christmas decorations! Since we will both be in Minnesota for the holidays, we skipped the tree (which was very hard to do!)
Instead, we bought a PRE-LIT wreath (super cool, and convenient), colorful lights for our balcony and white lights for inside our place. Hopefully we don’t start a fire!
I love Christmas!
